Fannie May for Easter

STM has Fannie May Candy Forms available in the back of church. Take the form and catalog home to look it over to place your order. Bring the completed form back by March 1st. Parishioners receive a 10% discount and no tax if you order Easter candy from St. Thomas More parish.

Lent 2012

The Lenten Season will be here on February 22 and the parish will offer a daily Mass at 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and Stations of the Cross twice each Friday after the Noon Mass and after the evening Mass. What are you doing for Lent? Have you thought about giving up TV? What are you learning from the ―boob tube‖? Another possibility is not snacking between meals. A news account of families gave a good case for not allowing children to take from the refrigerator at will but to delay gratification as basis for teaching them to hold back as adults.

Catechism Class!

Father Juan Carlos Gavancho Associate Pastor of Saint Thomas More Parish will offer a program on the Catechism of the Catholic Church for young and adults. This program will consist in a complete description, analysis and study of the Catechism of the Catholic Church in its structure and in its contents (Power point presentation). The goal of the program is to present the participants in a way of study and in a serious fashion the Doctrine of the Catholic Church as it is exposed in the Catechism promulgated by Pope John Paul II 1997. The exposition will help the participants to know clearly and love profoundly the content of the Catholic faith so they may be able to transmit such a faith teaching it faithfully
